Today, Wednesday, November 19th, is Winter Weather Awareness Day in Kansas. We all know the winter weather season is fast approaching and today is just a day to think about what you need to do to prepare. Get the ice scrapers out, find a shovel, get that winter weather kit ready for your car....the list goes on and on. It is a drill that we go through every year but it is very important. If you are prepared, the winter season won't seem nearly as difficult.

The National Weather Service has some great tips and information about dealing with winter weather. Click on the following link to get some great information.
