"Two photos taken 13 minutes apart last night show lightning hitting a tower, twice. Last night looking southwest from about 3 miles north of Topeka. Not sure which tower was hit but this one is quite a ways west of the one on Menninger Hill. Lightning does strike the same place twice. Truth be known, some places, like towers, are much more prone to strikes." - Larry Fischer, DVM
