This Afternoon: Chance of showers/storms will continue across all of northeast Kansas all day but will decrease in coverage through mid afternoon with redevelopment late this afternoon. Highs will be in the 80s for those in the thicker cloud cover and rain but may still make it into the 90s with clearing depending when the clouds do clear. Winds S 5-15 gusting up to 20 mph.
This Evening: Storms have the best chance for becoming severe if we were to get severe weather from 4pm-10pm. While widespread severe weather is not expected and is low from the cloud cover and rain from this morning, strong winds and hail may accompany some of the stronger storms.
Overnight: Chance of storms continue with locally heavy rain and lightning the main hazards. Lows in the mid 70s. Winds S/N 5-10 mph.
Thursday: Slight chance of storms with the best chance in the morning with an isolated chance in the afternoon. Highs in the mid 80s.
Friday: Mostly Sunny. Highs in the mid 80s with lower humidity.
