Heroes Behind the Badge

Dec 11, 2013 - Dec 14, 2013 7:00 p.m.

Topeka High School Auditorium, 800 SW 10th Street, Topeka KS
A group of Topeka Citizens have teamed up with the Fraternal Order of Police and the Topeka Public Schools Police, to bring the documentary film “Heroes Behind the Badge: Sacrifice & Survival” to Topeka. The first anniversary of the death of TPD Officer Jeff Atherly and Corporal David Gogian is December 16th. We wish to honor and remember them, along with all our Fallen Heroes with this event, and say “thank you” to all the brave men and women that put their lives on the line every single day.

The film, “Heroes Behind The Badge: Sacrifice & Survival”, will not only tell the stories of brave officers who have laid down their lives in the line of duty, but also the stories of the countless officers each year who are physically disabled, many of them permanently, in violent confrontations.

Please plan to join us Saturday December 14th at 7:00 p.m. at the Topeka High School Auditorium at 800 SW 10th Street. This event is open to the public, and donations can be made at the door with the proceeds going to the National Law Enforcement Memorial Fund & the FOP Foundation fund.
