The tournament, which will feature 144 professional women golfers from 27 countries, takes place September 5-7, 2014 at Firekeeper Golf course at the Prairie Band Casino & Resort in Mayetta, KS. A celebration of love and life.
There will be street performances such as Topeka High's Drum Line, fire twirlers, hoopers. Equal rights and diversity speakers, DJ and stage performances as well as musicians of all genre sprinkled throughout the two block area. This is a family event with activities for children as well as adults. Bouncy house, henna tattoos, face painting, balloon artists, sidewalk chalk creations, the US Army's climbing wall, etc.

The after party is for adults only and will be held inside Serendipity from 8 pm until midnight! There will be a minimal cover charge of 5$ to pay for the entertainment inside Serendipity.

Nitty Gritty Tie Dye Run

The Nitty Gritty Tie-Dye Run is a 5K fun-run that is going to be held on the Emporia State University's campus on September 6, 2014 at 10am. During this run participants are doused from head to toe in different colors at each kilometer! The fun continues at the finish line with a gigantic “Color Festival,” using more colored powder. This event is ideal for first-time 5k runners/walkers or experienced runners who want to have some fun! The entry fee for the race is ONLY $25 for adults, and $15 for children 12 and under!! All proceeds from the event will go to the “Children’s Champion Network”
