"The Tree Who Walked Through Time" Gallery of original Art from the book

Mulvane Art Museum 1700 SW Jewell St. Topeka, Kansas
An exhibition of the original artwork for the children’s book The Tree Who Walked Through Time by Lawrence author Maureen Carroll. The book features realistic and fantastic depictions of different species of Kansas trees by such well-known Kansas artists as Lisa Grossman, Stan Herd and Paul Hotvedt. Proceeds from the sales of books will go to the Mulvane’s ArtLab and other art educational programs.

Tough Enough to Wear Pink Rodeo

The Kaw Valley PRCA Rodeo hosts Tough Enough to Wear Pink night to raise awareness of breast cancer and other cancers and support for Kansas State University's Johnson Cancer Research Center.
