During the month of May enjoy a nice ride through the Flint Hills of Kansas from Alma to Herington and visit/shop the many unique Antique Shops in these small towns. You will be given a passport at your first stop which will be stamped, no purchase is necessary. Once you have your passport completed, you can drop off at your last stop to be entered into a drawing for one of 3 prizes of gift certificates of $25 or $50 or $100 good at all these locations. 2014 Designers' Showhouse, 3320 SW Spring Creek Place, Topeka, KS
Stop by and tour the 2014 Designers’ Showhouse this April and May, a fundraiser for ERC Resource & Referral, doing business as Child Care Aware® of Eastern Kansas, benefiting children by supporting high-quality child care options for families! This year’s home, dubbed “Wooded Serenity: Showhouse on Spring Creek Place,” is the family home of Duane and Beth Fager. It is located at 3320 SW Spring Creek Place in Topeka, just east of 33rd and Wanamaker Road. The Designers’ Showhouse and Boutique is open daily April 12 through May 11. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Showhouse is closed on Easter Sunday. Advanced tickets are $9, or $10 at the door. The last tour starts 30 minutes before closing. Children under the age of 8 will not be admitted.
Groups of 10 or more attending together may enjoy self-guided tours during normal Showhouse hours at a reduced rate. Special guided group tours are also available by appointment. Call 785-440-4519 for more information or to place your reservation.
