The Clothing Exchange will be open Friday, May 30, from 5:00pm - 7:00pm and Saturday, May 31 from 10:00am - 2:00pm. The Clothing Exchange offers free clothing and small household items. People may also bring used clothing to share. Clothing needs to be in good condition (you would still wear it) and clean.

Rough and Rowdy best describes our North Topeka Ghost Tour. Highlights include Rochester Cemetery and the Albino Woman, Overland Station and Moose Lodge which is listed on our top 5 most haunted locations several years in a row. Hear stories of the wild beginnings of North Kansas Avenue. Tour departs North Star Supper Club, 1100 NW 25th Street, Topeka, Kansas at 8PM Perfect date night. Tour lasts approximately 2 hours and be prepared to get out in 2 locations. Curtis Cemetery is always a fun get out spot since you never know what might be captured in a photo or experienced first hand. Tickets are $17.50 per person all year except October which are 20.00

During the month of May enjoy a nice ride through the Flint Hills of Kansas from Alma to Herington and visit/shop the many unique Antique Shops in these small towns. You will be given a passport at your first stop which will be stamped, no purchase is necessary. Once you have your passport completed, you can drop off at your last stop to be entered into a drawing for one of 3 prizes of gift certificates of $25 or $50 or $100 good at all these locations. Canstruction

Canstruction will exhibit amazing, 10 x 10 feet structures made entirely of cans of food and other non-perishables. The structures will be made by seven teams: Treanor Architects, HTK Architects, Tevis Architects, Barlett and West Engineers, Architect One, Schwerdt Design Group, Inc., and the American Institute of Architecture Student Chapter from K-State. With the exception of the AIA team, all of the teams are from Topeka. When the exhibit closes, the cans are donated to Harvesters, the Community Food Network, which supplies area food banks. Canstruction is an international program of the Society of Design Administration. Local sponsors of the event are Hy-Vee, Inc., Advisors Excel, and Knox Signs and Graphics. Structures will be given awards, including a People’s Choice Award voted on by visitors to the exhibition. The Mulvane Art Museum is open from 10-7 Tuesdays, 10-5 Wednesday-Friday, and 1-4 Saturday and Sunday.
