Auburn Civic Center, 1020 N Washington, Auburn KS 66402
This event will feature numerous vendors of products especially sold to women including jewelry, cooking, crafting, cosmetics and more. Fifteen percent (15%) of all purchases will be donated to the National Foundation for Transplant 501(c)(3) in the name of Gary Adkins, a local, long time resident of the Auburn community. Gary has Pulmonary Fibrosis and is in need of a lung transplant because his breathing capacity is dropping at an alarming rate. This event will feature door prizes as well as a silent auction. Concessions will be available for purchase. Direct donations may be made to the National Foundation for Transplants (NFT) Kansas Transplant Fund with a memo note "in honor of Gary Adkins" and mail to Terry Breese, Treasurer, 6311 SW Monarch Ct., Topeka, KS 66610. All donations are tax deductible according to law. This will be one of many fundraisers throughout the Topeka area to benefit Gary's transplant needs beyond what health insurance will cover.
