THE HILLS ARE ALIVE! A brand new production of THE SOUND OF MUSIC is coming to McCain Auditorium. The spirited, romantic and beloved musical story of Maria and the von Trapp Family will once again thrill audiences with its Tony®, Grammy® and Academy Award® winning Best Score, including “My Favorite Things,” “Do-Re-Mi,” “Climb Ev’ry Mountain,” “Edelweiss” and the title song.

THE SOUND OF MUSIC features music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, book by Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse, suggested by “The Trapp Family Singers” by Maria Augusta Trapp.

THE SOUND OF MUSIC enjoyed extraordinary success as the first live television production of a musical in over 50 years when “The Sound of Music Live!” aired on NBC in December 2013 and was seen by over 44 million people. 2015 marked the 50th anniversary of the film version, which continues to be the most successful movie musical in history.

Boy Scout Troop 13 presents our 49th Annual Chili & Stew Supper
Saturday, February 25th, 2015, from 4PM until 7PM
at Highland Park United Methodist Church, 2914 SE Michigan Ave, Topeka

Supper will be served from 4:00 PM until 7:00PM in Dawson Hall.

We will be serving your choice of Chili, Chili dogs, or Stew with desserts and beverages.

Prices are $8 for adults and $3 for children (under 10). Dine in or Carry-out available.

Proceeds from the Supper go to benefit the Summer Camping Program.

North Jackson Jets 4-H Club ~ Sloppy Joe Meal and Silent Auction

The North Jackson Jets 4-H Club is serving a Sloppy Joe meal, including homemade desserts, for a free will donation.

There will also be a silent auction of items made by the members.

Funds raised will be used to support our various 4-H club projects.

Clothing Exchange

The Clothing Exchange will be open Saturday, February 25 from 10:00am - 2:00pm and Saturday, March 4 from 10:00am - 2:00pm. The Clothing Exchange offers free clothing and small household items. People may also bring gently used clothing to share. Clothing needs to be in good condition (you would still wear it) and clean.

Boy Scout Troop 10 Pancake Feed

University United Methodist Church at 1621 SW College Avenue, Topeka, KS
Join Boy Scout Troop 10 for all-you-can-eat pancakes on Saturday, February 25, 2017 from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm at the University United Methodist Church. Tickets are just $5.00 in advance or at the door for all-you-can-eat pancakes and bottomless juice or coffee. The boys of Troop 10 will be your servers. Children under 5 eat free with an adult purchase. All proceeds are used to help Troop 10 with scouting activities such as camping and leadership development. We hope to see you there!
