I wanted to let you know about the 45 women's softball tourney. 90% of my team was over 50 for the 2 day tourney - as advertised on the Sunflower website. A young man in the office told the out of town teams that it was a 1 day tourney. So 3 teams called & complained when the 2 day sched was posted on Wed. On Thurs the sched changed to 1 day & moved from Rueger to Felker. No coaches were notified of the change or of the 2 other changes that day - switched to 40 , 1 field, 5 teams, 1 game each hr. I called Fri about water, bathrooms, & consessions & was assured they would be there. On Sat a team asked for water at the 9AM game, we asked again at 10AM. A woman was hurt in the 11AM game & medical was called over from Rueger. We told them we had no water - it showed up in 30 minutes. Consessions closed by 2 so no ice for water. Mike Westfall kept score - he would not post runs until the end of the inning. Last game finished around 9.30PM. This was the 2nd yr for such a poor experience.
