Kelly Lenz was Farm Director for WIBW-TV from 1978-2001. He covered agriculture-related news and markets and hosted the "Midday in Kansas" noon show. In 2000, he received the Kansas Farm Bureau Distinguished Service to Agriculture Award. Currently, Kelly serves as Farm Director for WIBW radio and the Kansas Agriculture Network, providing radio agricultural programming to more than 34 stations in Kansas and one in Colorado.
One of Kelly's fondest memories of working at WIBW was hosting the Pleasant Valley Gang program at 6am (M-F) on WIBW Radio in the late 70's and early 80's. He remembers them as the last vestige of old time "live music radio" remaining from the 1930's-1950's.
