Marla Carter began working at WIBW-TV in August of 2003 as a general assignment reporter. She then moved on to become weekend anchor and finished her career co-anchoring 13 News at 10 with Ralph Hipp in March of 2007. While at WIBW-TV, she received an award from the Kansas Association of Broadcasters for a series on sex offenders. Marla enjoyed covering the 50th anniversary of the Brown vs. Topeka Board of Education decision. She remembers the wonderful people she worked with at WIBW and the great people of NE Kansas she met while here.
Marla is currently an investigative reporter and fill-in anchor at KJRH-TV in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
