Diana Davis Wright

Diana began her career at WIBW-TV as a part-time reporter in January of 1987. She moved to a full-time position as a general assignment reporter and weekend news anchor in June of that year, and continued to work for WIBW until January of 1989. Since then, Diana has had a successful career working as an anchor and reporter for KAIT-TV in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She's received 13 first place awards from the Associated Press for news coverage, and recently, Diana won an Emmy for her 6pm newscast covering a tornado that proved fatal in Mountain View, Arkansas.

She remembers her time at WIBW as a great learning experience. Working withpeople like Mary Loftus, Andy Weingarten, John Holt, and Jim Hollis, Diana believes that Channel 13 was the "absolute best place to start in this business". She covered the November 1988 tornado that briefly touched down in west Topeka, recalling her live shots showing insulation and other debris blowing around as temperatures dropped to sub-freezing levels.

She lives in Arkansas with her two children, Destiny and Will.
