I would have never though I'd be in Topeka, KS, but my love for sports journalism brought me to WIBW-TV as the weekend sports anchor. I graduated with a journalism degree from Boston University, spent a summer caddying and then went the the great north of Marquette, MI to begin my career in television.
From the UP, I moved to Wausau, WI to work at the CBS affiliate there, and eventually moved on to the Wausau Daily Herald, covering sports for the newspaper and providing multimedia coverage for the web. Sports, for me, are more than just a job. Not only do I get the privilege of covering KU and K State, but when I get home, I throw on ESPN or go online to read about my favorite teams, the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots.Other than sports, I am really into TV shows, and could not live without TIVO.You can usually find me at the gym, in a park or experimenting in my kitchen. I cannot wait to get to know Topeka, so feel free to email me thoughts and exciting ideas. After all, the best, and most touching sports stories are yours.
