My career in journalism started when I was a freshman in high school. I enrolled in journalism class, excelled, and never really looked back. I attended Wichita State University, where I majored in Print Journalism and minored in Psychology. I wrote for several publications and was named "outstanding print journalism graduate," which I am very proud of. I decided to pursue Broadcast Journalism after an internship at KAKE, 13's sister station. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my friends, family and especially my lovely fiancé Sara. I love music, be it listening to my MP3 player or playing tunes on my guitar. I love basketball, especially the New Jersey Nets and my Shockers. I like reading true crime stories and psychology books. I began working as a News Producer at WIBW in July of 2006, and was thrilled to move into reporting. I hope I can contribute to what is already an excellent 13 news team!
