Meet Ariana Cohen!

Ariana started with WIBW 13 News in December 2012. She will never forget her first day on the job when two Topeka Police officers were shot and killed in the line of duty.

Ever since, Ariana has been reporting through a whirlwind of stories, covering President Obama's visit to her Alma mater, the University of Kansas, and First Lady Michelle Obama's visit to Brown vs. Board of Education.

Ariana grew up in San Diego, yet calls Kansas home. A former Title Boxing Club and 24 Hour Fitness manager, she enjoys keeping fit! Just recently--she defeated Topeka Police Department's physical exam. She's completed the Topeka Tower Run, Rock the Parkway Half-Marathon, Tough Mudder, Warrior Dash, and the Ridiculous Obstacle Challenge.

When she finally got tired of running, she took a plane to study abroad in Italy. While abroad, she skydived over the Alps in Switzerland, floated in the Dead Sea in Israel and went jet skiing in the Philippines.

In 2015, Ariana's news stories were noticed by the Kansas Association of Broadcaster's and KC Press Club. Her stories have also been featured on CNN, HLN and E! The Soup.

If you have a story idea, shoot Ariana an email, tweet, or Facebook message.
