KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) _ Chiefs linebacker Tamba Hali pronounced himself close to 100 percent for Sunday's game against Denver, while fellow pass rusher Justin Houston is week to week with an elbow injury.
Hali went through practice Friday without feeling pain from a sprained right ankle sustained in last Sunday's loss to San Diego. He initially thought that the injury was much more serious, but he received treatment early in the week and will play against the Broncos.
Houston dislocated his right elbow against the Chargers and it's unclear when he'll return.
The Chiefs' top pass rusher couldn't have an MRI exam until Wednesday because of swelling, and trainer Rick Burkholder said Friday the elbow was still in a brace.
Chiefs coach Andy Reid does not believe the injury is season-ending.
