Dillons Sunflower Showdown to Kick at 11 a.m.
MANHATTAN, Kan. – The 111th installment of the Dillons Sunflower Showdown between Kansas State and Kansas will kick off at 11 a.m., on November 30, at Memorial Stadium in Lawrence and will be shown to a national audience on FOX Sports 1, the Big 12 Conference and FOX Sports announced Monday.
The Sunflower Showdown is the 11th-most played rivalry in the FBS in terms of consecutive games played. The series began in 1902 with KU holding a 65-40-5 edge in the series, but the Wildcats have won 16 of the previous 20 matchups, including the last four.
It will be K-State’s second-straight 11 a.m., contest shown nationally on FOX Sports 1 as the Wildcats host Oklahoma on Senior Day this Saturday at Bill Snyder Family Stadium.
