K-State Track & Field Adds Home Meet to Schedule
MANHATTAN, Kan. – With track and field season getting into the swing of things this weekend across the nation, K-State Director of Track & Field and Cross Country Cliff Rovelto announced the addition of another home meet to his team’s indoor schedule on Friday. The Wildcats will host the KSU Open on February 16 at Ahearn Field House, one week prior to the Big 12 Championship hosted by Iowa State.
The addition of the KSU Open gives Rovelto’s Wildcats a total of four home meets during the indoor season, counting the Carol Robinson Winter Pentathlon and KSU All-Comers from December. K-State’s next home meet will be January 19 when the Wildcat Invitational takes place as a triple dual meet with Oklahoma State, Tulsa and UMKC. K-State is hosting one outdoor meet this year on May 11.
