Kansas City, Mo. -- League play is set to get underway as MIAA men's basketball moves into week five.

Central Missouri opens a three game homestand
Last Week: 11/29 l. to St. Mary’s 81-78 11/30 d. Southeastern Oklahoma State 75-66
Upcoming: 12/5 vs. #15 FHSU 7:30 p.m. 12/8 vs. MacMurray 2 p.m.
Central Missouri will open a three game homestand with their MIAA opener against #15 Fort Hays State. Dillon Deck is averaging 10.5 points per game through four games for the Mules while Daylen Robinson is averaging 10.3 through seven games.

Central Oklahoma hits the road
Last Week: 11/25 d. Oklahoma Science and Arts 76-75 11/29 d. Southern Nazarene 82-78 11/30 d. Oklahoma City 85-63

Central Oklahoma will hit the road to open MIAA play with trips to Lindenwood and Lincoln. The Bronchos are led by two-time MIAA Athlete of the Week Josh Gibbs who is averaging 21.6 points and 14.7 rebounds per game. Seth Heckart is averaging 13.4 points and Aaron Anderson and Cal Andrews are averaging 10.7 points per contest.

Emporia State starts MIAA play on the road
Last Week: 11/29 d. Southeastern Oklahoma State 81-66 11/30 l. to St. Mary’s 70-68
Upcoming: 12/7 at NWMSU 7:30 p.m.
Emporia State will begin MIAA play on the road before closing out 2013 at home. Kaleb Wright leads the way for the Hornets with 14.8 points and 4.7 rebounds per game. Terrence Moore is averaging 13.1 points and Paul Bunch 10.6 points per game. Gavin Brown leads the way on the glass averaging 6.8 rebounds per contest.

#15 Fort Hays State rides winning streak into league play

Lincoln opens MIAA campaign at home

Missouri Western closes out homestand

Nebraska-Kearney begins MIAA play on the road

Nebraska-Kearney will travel to Missouri Southern and Southwest Baptist to open MIAA play. The Lopers are led by Connor Beranek who is averaging 20.3 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. Tyler Shields is averaging 15.8 points and 5.8 rebounds per contest.

Northeastern State starts MIAA play on the road

Northwest Missouri begins MIAA play at home

#3 Emporia State heads for Northwest Missouri

#3 Emporia State will open their MIAA campaign on the road at Northwest Missouri before opening a three game homestand. The Lady Hornets are led by Laura Patrick who is averaging 14.6 points and 6.1 rebounds per game. Merissa Quick is averaging 12.1 points and 6.6 rebounds while Kionna Kellog is averaging 11.0 points and 6.3 rebounds per contest.

Fort Hays State rides a five game winning streak into MIAA play
