(WIBW) -- Well, they may not be playing for a championship, but two Jayhawks could soon be cashing in big time - if the experts at CBSSports.com are right.
In their latest mock drafts, the trio of prognosticators - Gary Parrish, Zach Harper, and Matt Moore, all have KU forward Andrew Wiggins going first to the Milwaukee Bucks.
None of them think Wiggins will have to wait very long to find out where his big man for the past season ends up. Two of the three experts, Parrish and Harper, think Joel Embiid will go to the Philadelphia 76ers, who are in the midst of a record long 26-game skid, with the very next pick.
Moore seems a bit more cynical. He has the KU center dropping all the way to the Orlando Magic, who have the 3rd choice,
Of course they're all assuming Wiggins and Embiid will declare for the draft. Neither has publicly said where they would play next year. In fact, there was some buzz on Thursday when Yahoo sports reported Embiid would declare for the draft - which he and his mentor quickly denied on Twitter.
And, if the draft goes the way they say, one more Jayhawk may find himself in the closest to a championship. All of them have the Selden going in the first round, although none of them agrees on where.
Parrish has him ending up in Miami where he's team up with former Jayhawk hero Mario Chalmers as well as some guys named LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, and Chris Bosh. Harper thinks Seldon will only have to move one state and join Kevin Durant in Oklahoma City.
