EASTON, Kan. (KPZ) - Friday nights are taking on a chillier tone! In Week 7, rain added an extra element to the chill.

Don't be frozen out in Week 8! Take a page from the fans we spotted heating up the action when Silver Lake visited Pleasant Ridge.

1. A big thermos filled with a hot beverage!

2. Manning the grill doesn't seem like such a bad gig - nice, warm flames!

3. Keep your shoes out of the puddles. Wet + Cold = Even worse!

4. You could see their breath, so don't judge the long pants and gloves!

5. Earwarmers, jackets and huddling with friends

6. Did we mention warm beverages?

7. Strike this pose - hands in pockets, arms tight to body. If you can do this with a blanket both beneath and around you, even better!

8. Bonus points for extra blankets - especially if they're decorated with footballs....and hearts!

9. Wear that warm KC Chiefs gear with pride, no matter which high school you're cheering!
