Team Of Destiny? Jayhawks Starting To Believe

NEW ORLEANS (AP) _ Tyshawn Taylor admitted he believes things
happen for a reason. The way Kansas keeps finding ways to win, most fans of the Jayhawks probably believe the same thing.

A program with as much tradition as anybody has taken on a scrappy underdog mentality during the NCAA tournament, scratching
and clawing its way to the national title game.

The Jayhawks play heavy favorite Kentucky for the championship Monday night.

Their road to the finale has included gut-check wins over Purdue, North Carolina State and North Carolina, giving Taylor the feeling that things are meant to be this year.

He'll find out when the two programs with the most wins in college basketball history step on the raised court in the Superdome with everything on the line.
