Posted: 11/10/2007 - Senior Angie Lastra tied her career-high mark of 36 digs to lead No.12 Kansas State to a 3-2 win over the Baylor Bears in Waco, Texas, Saturday afternoon. The Wildcats fell behind 2-1 but won the final two to take the match in scores of 28-30, 30-19, 28-30, 31-29, 15-11. K-State improves to 20-7 on the season to earn the Wildcats’ 12th 20-win year of the NCAA era; the Cats are 12-5 in conference action. Baylor drops to 14-13 overall; 6-10 Big 12.

Hornet Volleyball Falls to Truman

Posted: 11/09/2007 - The Hornet volleyball team fell by a score of 3-1 to Truman in the MIAA Post-Season Tournament Semi-Final. Niether team hit the ball well as both teams finished with a hitting percentage under .200 for the match. ESU took the first game 30-26 on .289 hitting, before falling by the same score in game two. In game three Truman pulled out a 30-28 victory before finishing things off with a 30-27 victory in game four.
