East coach Blake Pierce of Seaman won't have to look far to find a defensive stopper for the 2007 Kansas Shrine Bowl.
The Kansas Shrine Bowl has long been known for two major purposes--to showcase the state's most-recently graduated high school football talent, and to raise funds for the St. Louis unit of Shriners Hospitals for Children.
Diles, a seventh-round pick, played in 24 games in two seasons at Kansas State and had 92 tackles last year. He also had seven tackles for loss and 3 1/2 sacks.
