Posted: 01/27/2014 - The second-ranked Lady Hornets put three players in double figures in a 73-50 victory over Central Oklahoma on Sunday afternoon at Slaymaker Court in White Auditorium. The win is the 12th straight at home for Emporia State to match the sixth longest home court winning streak in school history. Kaleb Wright scored 32 points to lead the Emporia State men to their fifth straight win with a 92-80 victory over Central Oklahoma on Sunday afternoon. It is the longest MIAA winning streak for the Hornets since they opened the 2006-07 conference season with seven straight wins.

Garin Higgins Remembers Coach Larry Kramer

Updated: 01/27/2014 - January 26, 2014-Larry Kramer, the second winningest coach in Emporia State football history, passed away Saturday at the age of 71. Kramer was the coach of the Hornets during one of the greatest runs of football success in school history from 1983-1994. A native of Austin, Minn., Kramer was named NAIA National Coach of the Year in 1989 when he led Emporia State to the NAIA National Championship game.
