TOPEKA, Kan. -- The Washburn Ichabods basketball game with Emporia State has been moved from Thursday, Jan. 3 to Wednesday, Jan. 2 at 7:30 p.m. following the Lady Blues game with ESU which will now start at 5:30 p.m.
The two games were originally to be played on separate nights in Topeka, but have now been moved to a doubleheader. Both games will still be non-conference match-ups for the two teams. The originally-scheduled games in Emporia on Feb. 27 and Feb. 28 will still remain single games on each night with the Lady Blues taking on ESU on Feb. 27 at 7 p.m. with the Ichabods to follow the next night. The games played in Emporia will count in the MIAA standings.
