Our first High Five goes to Tabby Patterson because we wouldn't want to make her mad and put her any lower. Patterson is a rising Mixed Martial Arts fighter from Burlingame with a 4-2 record. Her next fight slated for July 26th in Topeka.

Also in the Capital City, the Sunflower State games kicked off this weekend. This is the 25th state games, beginning in 1990. Be sure to check the events schedule. The games continue for 2 weeks through July 27th.

Our third High Five goes to the big three of the Wunder family. The trio competed in the BMX section of the Sunflower State Games. They first started riding after watching the games 5 years ago and now use the sport for some quality family time.

High Five number four goes to the Kansas City royals. After finishing the first half 2 games above .500, the Royals are just 2 1/2 games out of a playoff spot. Last season the Royals were one of baseballs best teams in the 2nd half. posting a 43 and 27 record after the mid-summer classic.

The final 5 goes to Dom Dwyer. Currently sitting at 2nd in the top scorer standings with 14 goals, he added 2 more Saturday against Montreal in a win. SKC sits comfortably in the #2 spot in the Eastern Conference.
