Kansas City, Mo. -- When the lights come up on Sunday for Super Bowl XLVII three former MIAA players will be battling for a Super Bowl ring. The MIAA has the more former players in Sunday night's game than any other NCAA Division II Conference in the nation.

On the 49er's roster are former Central Missouri Wide Receiver Delanie Walker who will play tight end for San Franscisco. For his NFL career, Walker has 124 receptions for 1,485 yards and eight touchdowns. He is joined by former Washburn linebacker Michael Wilhoite who is a special teams captain for the 49ers this season. Wilhoite has seven tackles on the season playing mostly on special teams.

On the other side of the ball will be former Washburn defensive back Cary Williams. Williams has put a strong season together for the Baltimore Ravens with 75 tackles and six interceptions including two in the post-season.

The super bowl will be contested at 6:30 p.m. EST on Feb. 3, 2013 from New Orleans, La.
