(June 2, 2013) -- After a stretch of three matches in seven days, Sporting Kansas City will now have 10 days before their next match which comes June 12 in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup fourth round.
Seven Sporting Kansas City players are away on international duty, with forward Kei Kamara, midfielder Peterson Joseph and defender Mechack Jerome departing today to join their respective National Teams. Matt Besler and Graham Zusi are with the U.S. Men's National Team, which takes on Germany today at 1:30 p.m. CT on ESPN2 and UniMas live from RFK Stadium.
Forward Soony Saad and midfielder Mikey Lopez will both be in action on Tuesday against Korea Republic. Saad, who scored in his international debut for Lebanon on Wednesday in an international friendly, will be available for selection for a FIFA World Cup Qualifier while Lopez and the U.S. Under-20 Men's National Team will play the Korea Republic U-21 team in the Toulon Tournament in France.
Sporting Kansas City will train at 10 a.m. CT on Thursday and Friday at the Sporting Club Training Center in Swope Park (6310 Lewis Rd, Kansas City, MO). All media are encouraged to attend for interview, photo and video opportunities.

CONCACAF will conduct the 2013-14 CONCACAF Champions League draw at 7 p.m. CT on Monday at the InterContinental at Doral in Miami. The draw will decide each of the eight groupings for the 24 clubs set to kick off the tournament this August with Sporting Kansas City learning it's two opponents for the group stage.
