TECUMSEH, Kan. (WIBW) - A trio of Shawnee Heights senior baseball players are ready to take their talents to the next level.
The three inked letters of intent Thursday to play in college.
Austin Higgins is staying close to home. He's headed to Washburn University to play baseball. He says he liked the coaches and the campus, plus they had the academic major in which he was interested.
Higgins says his goal is to keep improving his skills so that he might see playing time as a freshman.
In addition to Higgins, teammate Vincent Ramos will take a swing at Coffeyville Community College, while Dayton Pomeroy will be play for Barton County Community College.
