KANSAS CITY, MO (November 8, 2012) — The Kansas City Royals announced today that the club has traded right-handed pitcher Jeremy Jeffress to the Toronto Blue Jays in exchange for cash considerations.
Jeffress, 25, was designated for assignment on November 2. The right-hander was 0-0 with a 6.75 ERA in 13 relief appearances for the Royals in 2012.
