Roadrunners Fall To Jr. Blues | Have Home Ice In Division Semifinals

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- Topeka Roadrunners fall 3-2 to Springfield but will have home ice in NAHL South Division Semi-Finals.

Prior to Saturday night's contest against Springfield, Topeka retired the #21 Jersey of Peter Halash. Halash died tragically in a car accident January 5th.

Despite an early 1-0 lead in the first period after a Jake Kamrass Goal, the Jr. Blues would go on to score 3 more goals to the Roadrunners two.

The Roadrunners, who were one point behind Amarillo for first place before Saturday's game, will have home ice in the NAHL South Division Semi-Final playoffs.

Opponent and dates of post season game are to be determined
