Kansas City, Mo. – Two MIAA squads have earned spots in the NCAA Division II Football Tournament. Northwest Missouri and Emporia State will each be involved in the tournament, which gets going next weekend.
Northwest Missouri has earned the top seed and assured themselves a home game after a bye in the opening round. They will play the winner of fifth seeded Emporia State and fourth seeded Minnesota-Duluth a game which will be played this weekend in Duluth, Minn.
Making up the other half of the bracket are third seeded Henderson State who will face sixth seeded St. Cloud State. Minnesota State-Mankato shored up the second seed and will await the winner of that game.
