McNeill Earns Second Straight MIAA Weekly Honor

Kansas City, Mo. -- For the second straight week Washburn's Will McNeill has been named the MIAA Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week, this time for week four.

McNeill scored a season high 34 points in a 94-55 win over Bellevue, the #17 team in NAIA Division II. He went 15 of 25 from the field adding four rebounds and two steals to the effort. He scored 20 points in the second half as he only played 31 minutes total in the ballgame. The 6-1 senior guard is a native of Alexandria, La. where he competed at Peabody Magnet High School.
