HOUSTON (AP) _ Kansas is looking to end more than four years of road futility when the Jayhawks travel to Rice on Saturday.
They broke an 11-game losing skid dating to last year with last week's 31-14 win over South Dakota. But the Jayhawks have lost 22 straight games away from home, with their last victory outside of Lawrence coming on Sept. 12, 2009 at UTEP.
Kansas running back Tony Pierson says: ``That's all the talk's been about.''
Kansas is also eager to face the Owls again after losing a 25-24 thriller last season. Kansas was up by eight points in the fourth quarter before Rice rallied for the win on a 45-yard field goal as time expired.
