LAWRENCE, Kan. -- The Kansas football team conducted its 11th practice of fall camp Saturday under hot and humid conditions. Practice was open to the public as a part the annual Fan Appreciation Day held in Memorial Stadium.

The Jayhawks went through a variety of group and individual drills while wearing full pads. At the conclusion of the Jayhawks' two hour practice, fans in attendance were invited onto the newly renovated field to obtain autographs from coaches and players.

After progressing through four individual periods, the Jayhawks moved to one-on-one drills with defensive backs going against wide receivers, tackling technique drills, blocking scheme drills, kickoff and kickoff return. Quarterbacks worked on routes with the receivers, then engaged in 7-on-7 competition followed by a short team portion where special teams showcased their punting and field goal units, as well as a short scrimmage.
