LAWRENCE, Kan. (WIBW) -- The 8th ranked Kansas will host their fourth and final ESPN Big Monday game of the season when they host the Oklahoma Sooners on Monday.
The Jayhawks (21-6) are coming off a 31-point rout of #19 Texas over the weekend that improved their conference record to 12-2 and helped them open up a 3 game lead in the Big-12. The Sooners (20-7, 9-5) are tied with Iowa State and Texas for second-place.
Big Monday games have certainly been kind to the Jayhawks. Since the Big 12's founding in 1996-97, KU is 51-17 in those games and 32-9 under Head Coach Bill Self. In games at Allen Fieldhouse, their record soars to 28-1 and a perfect 17-0 under Self.
A win versus OU would guarantee Kansas at least a share of its 10th-straight Big 12 regular season title.
