Emporia State Breaks Mustangs 77-55 At Home

November 23, 2013 - The #4 ranked Lady Hornets defeated Midwestern State University 77-55 behind 50 percent shooting from the field to improve to 6-0 on the season.

Four Lady Hornets finished with double-digit scoring totals led by Rheanna Egli's 15 points. Egli was 2-for-3 from behind the 3-point arch and added five assists.

Laura Patrick scored 14 points, while Desiree Wylie and Kionna Kellog scored 13 and 11 points respectively. Amber Vandiver led the Emporia State with 11 rebounds.

Emporia State outscored the Mustangs 24-6 from 3-point range.

The Lady Hornets will next be in action November 30 when they host Southwestern College at White Auditorium with a scheduled 7:00 p.m. tip-off.
