February 6, 2013--Emporia State head football coach Garin Higgins announced the signing of 19 high school players to attend Emporia State and play football for the Hornets. Seven transfers have also joined the class.
"This is another solid recruiting class as we build our program. The success we had on the field helped us on the recruiting trail," said Higgins. "I think we filled our needs and at the same time signed the best athletes we could at those positions."
ESU will host the Hornet Football Forecast Bash on Monday, February 11 at Coaches Sports Bar and Grill. The event will begin with a social hour at 7:00 p.m. with Coach Higgins speaking at 7:30 p.m. Video highlights of the incoming class will be shown on the video screens in the back meeting room of Coaches.
