Kansas City, Mo. – Emporia State and Central Oklahoma put the finished touches on week 11 in MIAA basketball.

WBB – ESU 89, UCO 57
Emporia state shot .470 from the field as the picked up a victory at home against Central Oklahoma. ESU hit 13 three-pointers shooting .480 from behind the arc as they moved to 5-3 in the MIAA.
For the Lady Hornets Rachel Hanf led all scorers with 23 points, adding five assists and five rebounds. Desiree Wylie had 15 points and nine rebounds while Rehanna Egli had 11 points and nine assists. For the Bronchos McKenzie Solberg scored 14 points on the afternoon. Alyssa Fuxa added 11 points and pulled down six rebounds.
MBB – UCO 77, ESU 71
Central Oklahoma erased a three-point halftime deficit to earn a victory on the road at Central Oklahoma. UCO hit 13 three-pointers as they moved to 5-4 in MIAA play this season.
For the Bronchos Josh Gibbs led the way with 25 points and nine rebounds. Cal Andrews had 16 points, Spencer Smith added 15 and Jamell Cormier scored 12 points. For the Hornets Chris Sights had 16 points, four assists and four rebounds. Paul Bunch finished with 14 points and eight rebounds on the afternoon.
