The coaching carousel continues to turn in northeast Kansas.

According to Rick Peterson of the Topeka Capital-Journal, the Rossville Bulldogs have hired former Washburn Rural Coach Derick Hammes to lead their football program after Jason Broaddus stepped down with health issues.

It's a switch-a-roo between the Jr. Blues and Dawgs, as the former Rossville Coach Steve Buhler took over at Washburn Rural in February after Hammes had stepped down. Calls to both coaches were not returned on Tuesday night.
