TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -Kansas City Chiefs fans had a chance to meet and greet former gridiron greats from the legendary franchises past.
Tony adams, Danan Hughes, Mike Bell and Dave Lindstrom met with fans and signed posters. The appearance was part of a weekend long event at the casino.
The Chiefs ambassadors are a tight knit group that is known for reaching out to the fans that have supported the team for so long.
Former Receiver Danan Hughes was on hand and said, "When we were playing we did alot of charity, we traveled around to fans but there is an extended Chiefs family. We try and reach out even after our years on the field and we have a great time with the fans that want to see us and get autographs, it's just cool all around."
As Chiefs Ambassadors they take part in community outreach programs such as charity golf tournaments and giving scholarships.
