Bill Self Talked With Cavs About Coaching Vacancy

It now appears as if the Cleveland Cavaliers originally wanted more than just Andrew Wiggins from the Kansas Jayhawks during the NBA Draft.

LAWRENCE, Kan. - (Kansas City Star) It now appears as if the Cleveland Cavaliers originally wanted more than just Andrew Wiggins from the Kansas Jayhawks during the NBA Draft.

On Monday, The Kansas City Star reported that they were in talks with KU coach Bill Self for their head coach vacancy before filling it with Isreali coach David Blatt.

Self told the paper, "I talked to the Cavs...but i'll just leave it at that."

Kentucky's John Calipari, Florida's Billy Donavan, and Michigan State's Tom Izzo were all considerationed for the post.
