Extended Ground Level Highlights from K-State Win Over Missouri State


MANHATTAN, Kansas (Ticker) -- Jordy Nelson set single-game school records with 15 receptions for 209 yards, catching one touchdown pass and throwing for another in Kansas State's 61-10 rout of Missouri State.

Nelson found Deon Murphy on a trick play from 24 yards out to open the scoring in the first quarter and caught Josh Freeman's 18-yard scoring pass from Josh Freeman to cap a 20-point third quarter that put the Wildcats ahead 47-10.

James Johnson also ran for 114 yards and three TDs for Kansas State (2-1).

Cody Kirby finished 9-of-17 for 62 yards for the Bears (2-1), who came in scoring 56.6 points per game - a mark that led the Football Championship Subdivision.
