Nebraska Talks About Southern California

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) _ Nebraska cornerback Cortney Grixby
describes top-ranked Southern California as a modern-day dynasty in
college football.
Grixby says the Trojans remind him of the Nebraska teams of the
mid 1990s. He says Saturday's game in Lincoln is a rare opportunity
for the Huskers to measure themselves against the best team in the
land.
The Trojans feature a Heisman Trophy front-runner in quarterback
John David Booty, a deep stable of running backs and 10 returning
starters on defense.
Offensive lineman Matt Slauson said it helps that the Huskers
have already had one go-round with the Trojans, losing 28-10 to
them in Los Angeles last year.
Slauson says the Trojans can scare opponents just because they
are USC. But Slauson says he and his teammates realize the Trojans
are not superhuman.
