TOPEKA, Kan. (September 10, 2007) –The final race in the “Think Green” Dirt Series, presented by Waste Management brought the crowd to their feet Sunday evening at Heartland Park Topeka with the Hobby Stock points championship on the line. Shane Wettengel and Brian Stich were tied for the top spot at the beginning of the evening, but Stich ran into some trouble during the Hobby Stock feature and Wettengel ended the evening as the points champion.
In the Hobby Stock feature, Shaun Still, Topeka took the checkered flag just ahead of Shane Wettengel. In the Factory Stock division, Paul Lanfermann out of Atchison got the win with Johnny Allen from Chanute winning the Modified feature.
