Gonzalez Extends Receiving Streak to 100 Games

Another First-Quarter Shutout: KC’s defense did not permit any offensive points in the first quarter, marking the eighth time in 17 regular season games under Herm Edwards the club has accomplished that feat.

: TE Tony Gonzalez extended his franchise-record streak of consecutive games with a reception to 100 contests. That 100-game streak is the second-longest compiled by a TE in NFL history, trailing only the 150-game streak established by Cleveland TE Ozzie Newsome.
