Oakland Drops Opener to Lions

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) _ Detroit's Lions rallied to beat Oakland
36-21 after blowing a 17-point lead. Former Lions quarterback Josh
McCown led the Raiders to three second-half touchdowns and a 21-20
lead with 7:43 remaining.
Lions QB Jon Kitna then took over as the Motor City scored the
final 16 points of the game. On the game winning drive he completed
four of five passes for 67 yards and his third score of the game.
The game marked the debut of 32-year old Lane Kiffin as head
coach of the Raiders. He is the youngest man to coach a game in the
NFL since 1962.
